Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is centrally located in the arts and culture precinct of Newtown, downtown Jozi near major highways and off ramps as well as the Gautrain station and bus routes. Other attractions in the direct vicinity and within walking distance of Sci-Bono are:
The SAB Miller World of Beer, The Market Theatre, Museum Africa, Bassline, The Newtown Junction Mall and The Turbine Hall amongst others. The City Sightseeing bus stop is also directly in front of Sci-Bono Discovery Centre.

- From the North Take the Jan Smuts off from the M1 South.
- Go trough Braamfontein and straight over the Nelson Mandela
